Jasmine Poole (Brooklyn, NY) is a graduate from the Alvin Ailey/Fordham University BFA program. Jasmine started her dance studies at Restoration Dance Theater under the direction of Karen Thornton and Peggy Alston and later continued at the Harlem School of the Arts. Upon graduation she joined and became rehearsal director and principal dancer for Obediah Wright’s Balance Dance Theater. Jasmine has graced the stage of Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Dance Africa, Apollo Theater, IABD, Aaron Davis, United Nations and performed for various celebrities such as Martha Stewart and Russell, Kimora Simmons and Neil Patrick Harris “Best Time Ever”. Jasmines’ love for dance knows no bounds. The gift of dancing has been such a blessing for this is what she was born to do. Passion is energy.
