Jude M Perry-Evans, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, is a passionate and versatile dance/performing artist. He began his professional journey at The Ailey School as a student in the Professional Division. Jude is a founding member of Urban Souls Dance Company in Houston, Texas, and has danced with many other companies, such as: Foot Prints Dance Company, Balance Dance Theater, Alpha Omega Theatrical Dance Company, Forces of Nature Dance Theater, Long Island Ballet Theater, De La Soul Dance Company, Phoenix Danse. He has also been a featured dancer opera and productions, Fire Shut Up In My Bones (Lyrica Opera of Chicago), Shuffle Along (Harlem Opera Theater), The Image Maker (Queens College Opera); musical productions, On Kentucky Avenue (Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, AC), The Joint, Flambeaux; and stage productions, Dance Africa (BAM), and Voices of Congo Square (New Orleans). Jude can also be seen in such films as, Uprooted: The Journey of Jazz Dance, and Hal King The Musical. In addition he has worked with Choreographers; Nathan Trice, Brian Harlan Brooks, Carlos Dos Santos, Donald McKayle, and many others.
